Pop music - Pop music, in popular and contemporary parlance, is a subgenre of popular music. Since the term spans many rock, hip hop, rhythm and blues (R&B), country, dance and operatic pop acts, it is reasonable to say that "pop music" is a loosely defined category.
Pop rap - Pop rap is simply hip hop (rap) music with a very strong pop music influence. The more typically rough elements of hip hop music are smoothed away in order to achieve a crossover-friendly sound.
Mexican hip hop - Mexican rap refers to a hip hop movement started in Mexico in the early 1990s with dance-pop act Calo. This group comprised 1 MC and 4 dancers/chorists who rhymed, sang and danced over pop-house music style instrumentals.
